life is what you make it.
Lily’s deep connection to nature began in childhood, thanks to her parents' lessons of observing and appreciating the natural world. Early encouragement to be active outdoors in all seasons has led to a lifelong curiosity about plants and animals, and ultimately to her drive to paint this subject matter. Her fondness and respect for nature has only grown stronger with time, and currently her art has evolved into a focused exploration of bird portraiture.
The goal of these detailed and intimate bird portraits is to create a feeling of connection and greater appreciation for the birds and other wildlife with whom we share the world.
Capturing your pet’s personality is my goal when painting a portrait.
As a dog owner myself, I can appreciate the intimate bond we form with our animal companions and how important it is to have a piece of them that lasts forever.
Portraits are painted on commission- all are done on gallery edge wood panels and are ready to hang as soon as they’re finished. Pricing based on size.

In today’s fast paced world, it’s so easy to overlook their presence on the other side of your window. Hopefully by honoring these free spirits with regal portraits will encourage everyone to look up, and take notice of the beautiful creatures right in our backyards.
Desperate up-cycling moment turned into a beautiful and utilitarian piece! Thanks to material shortages during the Covid shutdown, Lily was pushed to find new surfaces to practice avian portraiture.
